Our x-pipes are designed to fit perfectly in the stock location. It is a complete bolt on, no modifications needed. This x-pipe comes with two high-flow catalytic converters. There are pre-threaded holes for all O2 sensors in the stock locations.

Although there are no modifications needed to install this x-pipe, it will only work with a dual exhaust system. Essentially, this x-pipe eliminates the factory y-pipe and allows for a true-dual exhaust system to be installed on your V6 Mustang. You can use any catback exhaust designed for use on 99-04 models, weather its a Factory/OEM exhaust or aftermarket exhaust.

Our x-pipes are made from 14 gauge, aluminized steel with a tube diameter of 2.5 inch, mandrel bent for maximum airflow. Each pipe includes all flanges and hardware and can be used with headers or factory equipment. The High Flow Catalytic Converters on this unit are made by Magnaflow and are 49 State EPA OBD-II Street Legal (not for use in CA).

Average install time is 1-2 hours. We designed our x-pipes to achieve balanced scavenging for maximum horsepower. The sections at the "X" do connect to each other. Horsepower gains vary depending on the level of modification you already have with your vehicle. Average gains are usually 10-15 HP increase. The sound of our x-pipe is low and deep, without rasp.
